KONY 2012

Happy Friday, Plummies! By now you've probably heard about Kony 2012 in the news, on Facebook, or on Youtube. But, have you actually taken the short 30 minutes to sit down and watch the entire documentary? If not, perhaps this is the perfect time to do so.
I watched this just yesterday, and I cried because I was saddened to see the devastation that our neighbors in Africa are currently enduring. It was heart-wrenching, and inspiring at the same time. I am pumped to bring peace to those children!
We are here to "change the conversation of our culture"

Plummies, use your voice to better this world. You have more power than you think. Xo

  1. What the video isn't telling people is that it was shot in 2003 and Kony hasn't stepped foot in Uganda for about 6 years. Kids are no longer being kidnapped and the people of Uganda are happy with the peace they are enjoying. Kony still needs to be brought to justice, but not at the cost of throwing the region back into unecessary turmoil.

    1. Jay, I believe that the end of the film mentioned all of that. It said that Kony has left Uganda and is now terrorizing other countries in Africa.
