This is what gets me out of bed.
Toast one whole-wheat slice of bread...
garnish with spinach leaves,
add one over-easy organic egg...
top it off with ketchup!
Then, a cute little scoop of low-fat greek yogurt...
toss on some almonds,
Finish with a bit of blueberries! Now: Enjoy!
Morning, Plummies! I hope your Thursday goes by fabulously.
Three things need to happen in order for me to feel energized throughout the day...I need to:
1) Get enough sleep the night before (at least 7 hours, but I am working my way up to eight).
2) Plan/ Organize for my day the evening before (i.e: make sure I have gas in my car, pack my lunch, make sure my bag is packed with any papers that I need, lay out my outfit, etc.)
3) And most importantly, I need to eat a healthy breakfast. I try to make sure I have healthy carbs (whole wheat anything), protein (eggs), greens (spinach), antioxidants (berries or juice), some dairy (yogurt for calcium), my daily multi-vitamins (I like the Gummy-Vites), and of course coffee!
Do you eat breakfast regularly? If not, I urge you to. If you already do, what are your favorite things to chow down?
